Product Information

Use Calcitrace D3 Bolus to reduce the risk of milk fever (clinical and subclinical), and also as supportive therapy following Calciject® 40 CM infusion.

High content levels: 45g calcium, 40,000 iu vitamin D3 per bolus.

Combination of fast-release calcium formate and calcium acetate and slow-release calcium sulphate for a consistent calcium supply. Does not contain caustic calcium chloride.

Contains: 

  • Crude ash 73.50%
  • Calcium 26.60%
  • Ash insoluble in hydrochloric acid 3.00%
  • Magnesium 1.80%
  • Phosphorus 0.07%
  • Sodium 0.02%;
  • Calcium sources and calcium amount per kg:
  • Calcium formate: 126.3g
  • Calcium acetate: 39.2g
  • Calcium sulphate: 100.8g

Dosage & Administration

Administer one bolus at the time of calving and if necessary, a second 12 hours later.

Delivery in Ireland & Northern Ireland

We offer free delivery in Ireland and Northern Ireland on orders over €100 with the exception of some heavy weight products (see exception below).

You can expect to receive your order in 2-4 working days in Ireland and 3-4 working days in Northern Ireland.

Exception to free delivery:

Unfortunately due the large weight of some products, once the following products are ordered in a volume of 400kg or 400 Litres or less, the delivery charge is €45.00. Please note if you are ordering more than 400kg/litres of these products, then delivery is free.
